A Christmas Carol was, of course, written in the 19th century by Charles Dickens. Originally adapted, produced and directed by Richard Walsh in 2017, it remains the most loved production staged at Christ Lutheran Church.
With a few exceptions, the church has staged a play in late fall annually. Our mandate is to present theatrical productions with a moral edge that challenge a general audience. Prior to this production, our previous shows were Antigone (2012), Merry Wives of Windsor (2013), Don Juan in Hell (2014), and An Enemy of the People (2016). Subsequent shows were a double-bill of The Trojan Women and Lysistrata (2018), and Pygmalion (2019).
