The Christ Lutheran Church Community Garden is a beautiful collage of 35 plots located on the corner of Lexington and Davenport. As you pass the Community Garden in the various seasons, you will be treated to scenic views such as sunflowers and marigolds, and a cornucopia of vegetables ranging from spring snow peas to summer tomatoes to autumn squash and kale.
There are currently 35 plots, approximately 10 x 20 ft. each. Gardeners from the community as well as the Christ Lutheran Church family are welcome. Gardeners must pay a small fee each year and agree to maintain their plot by weeding, disposing of garbage and compost and participating in the Fall clean-up of the garden. If interested, please call the church office at (519) 885-4050.
